Stadiu incipient

The Faculty of Mechanics is one of the most important and dynamic institutions in the University of Craiova, which has the specializations offered among the most demanded by the high school graduates. At the start of the design works, the total surface area of the laboratories is well below academic standards, and the functionality of most of them involved very high energy consumption, thermal and acoustic discomfort, outdated seismic security and inadequate dispersion in the city, making them difficult to access And hard to manage. There were also a large number of laboratories serving the specialization of Civil, Industrial and Agricultural Constructions, whose location is not within the faculty premises of Calea Bucuresti, assuming students' journeys on relatively large distances, with the unwanted fragmentation of the educational process . The number of specializations and the over 2000 students currently working in college was not compatible with the number of seminar and design rooms, leading to an oversize of the student's curriculum. The structural modification of the Mecanica faculty building monument imposed by previous consolidation works has inevitably led to the diminishing of the educational spaces and the access roads in the faculty, making it almost impossible to equip the laboratories with the necessary facilities and equipment. The central wing of the C2, which is not part of the original conformation of the C2 building, was built in the 1970s with the laboratory destination and a teacher's office on the ground floor and the floor was depreciated over time as well as the C3 building (Decanate S + P + 1 ) And C10 (Student's home G + 4), which in the last years were no longer functional.

Scopul proiectului

The Faculty of Mechanics faces the lack of educational spaces at the beginning of the design in 2013, the situation in which the University of Craiova has proposed to expand with a body of laboratories and G + classrooms linked by a G + 2 joint (C + + G + P + 1) and the extension of the body C2 with a body (C + + P + 4) Aula D + P, as well as the arrangement of the premises with carriageway and pedestrian ways, sports field and utilities, within the University Campus of the Faculty of Macanica, Calea Bucuresti street, no. 107, Craiova. The University of Craiova has made the investment with funding from European funds. With the implementation of the rehabilitation interventions on the existing bodies and the realization of the extensions, it was ensured: - Numerous laboratories of various profiles, equipped with the latest equipment for students and teachers, which also allow them to carry out research works and also ensure the didactic activities of the Faculty of Mechanics, exclusively within the Mechanical Campus - classrooms - hall with 260 seats and multifunctional exhibition spaces - the administrative offices of the Faculty of Mechanical Decanter, located in the C3 building - auxiliary and technical spaces - Equipping with furniture and new facilities of all spaces - exterior arrangements of the Mechanical Campus premises: carriageways and pedestrian streets, parking lots, enclosed sports grounds and equipped with night lighting, indoor lighting, landscaped green spaces - making connections to urban utilities: electricity, water, sewage The buildings that were the object of the investment were made with modern materials and the proposed volumetry started from the idea of rejecting the passion against the historical mionument C2 (formerly the Normal Boys School) the headquarters of the Faculty of Mechanics, both at the level of chromatic treatment The facades, and the full-empty ratio. This ensures an integrative concept of the various built volumes. Execution work started in 2014 and ended at the end of 2015, providing the most modern material base for the Faculty of Mechanics The design has ensured both the consolidation of the resistance structures of the existing and newly proposed buildings, the realization of some solutions for the installations that will ensure the reduction of the consumption, but the conditions necessary for the proper functioning of the spaces and equipments served by them. For the general contractor the problems during the execution were numerous, considering the large number of distinct objects within the investment and the short term in which it had to fit with the completion of the works.

Descrierea proiectului

The proposed objects on the studied site are the following: - Ob.1 - Rehabilitation of central wing building C2 P + 1 and extension with body D + P Aula - Ob.2 - Rehabilitation, refunctonalization and modernization of the building C3, D + P + 1, decanter - Ob.3 - Rehabilitation, modernization of building C10, student dormitory, P + 4 and extension with body P + 2 ÷ 4 laboratories and classrooms - Ob.4 - Exterior works (pedestrian and roadways, green spaces and sports ground) - Ob.5 - External networks Both indoor and outdoor finishes are of high quality and meet the needs of the various categories of functions.

Evaluare

The investment costs amounted to 47,386,079 lei, respectively 11,151,000 euros, of which C + M 34,426,695 lei respectively 8,100,219 euros, including VAT.
